Updated 8:57 pm – Survivor was located and airlifted to the mainland with no injuries and is in good condition.

UK’s Sky News is reporting that Coast Guard officials have made contact with another person alive aboard the half submerged cruise ship Costa Concordia though the person has not been rescued yet.

Yesterday a South Korean couple on their honeymoon was found alive inside the ship and checked out to be in good health.

Divers and rescue personnel are assessing the damaged ship and looking for possible survivors. There are still 40 passengers unaccounted for.

The line released a statement early Saturday. The captain remains detained with Italian authorities on counts of manslaughter and abandoning ship.

Costa Concordia remains laying on her starboard side just off the coast of Giglio Island.
