Cruiser Gift Ideas

holiday3

With Christmas right around the corner and the gift of giving upon us, it’s time to start thinking about those holiday presents!

Personally, I think a cruise traveler is one of the easiest people to shop for.  A typical cruiser is laid back and  easy come, easy go personality.

I put together a list of gifts after talking to my cruise buddies this week.  Some of the things are just stocking stuffers but it’s the thought that counts!

This is what we came up with: (in no particular order)

  • Walkie Talkies
  • Water proof carying case
  • Flashlight
  • Digital Camera
  • Mini Flip Cam
  • Books on Cruise Ports
  • Book: The Permanent Passenger by Micha Berman
  • Cracker Barrel Gift Card
  • Gas Gift Card
  • Visa Gift Card
  • Sea Band
  • Love Boat DVD collection
  • iPod
  • Flash Drive
  • Florida Sunrises (a cool site of daily sunrises)
  • Cruise Line Gift Cards (to use for on board credits or when booking)

If you have any, please let me know below!

This list is great – in fact I’m going to use it to shop for my grandparents-in-law, they are avid cruisers. Thanks!

Great suggestions!! Love Boat DVDs…ahhhh I loved that show!!

Another item would be an underwater disposal camera. They do take nice pictures. Especially if you are traveling with children. Just give the child the camera and let them have fun with it.

This is what I would want…and you can get these at Target or Wal-Mart…the perfect gift for frequent cruisers! Get a ton of those small size versions of toothpaste, shampoo, mouthwash, etc. The most frustrating this is to have to carry the BIG regular sizes of toiletries on the ship and then have to carry them off in your “carry-on”.
