Rina scrambles Western Caribbean cruise itineraries

hurricane season Hurricane Rina is now the 17th named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season and is impacting cruise itineraries in the Western Caribbean.

Carnival Cruise Line’s are reporting the following changes:

Carnival Destiny is on a 4-night sailing out of Miami. The sailing is dropping Cozumel and picking up Nassau, Bahamas.

Carnival Dream (10/30/11 sailing) will do an Eastern Cruise this week, dropping Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, and Costa Maya, picking up Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Marteen.

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Magic departs on Oct. 29, out of Port Canaveral has revised their scheduled, spending a day at sea instead of docking in Key West. The line is also dropping Cozumel and Grand Cayman and replacing them with Tortola and St. Marteen.
