MSC Divina Welcomed Back to Miami

This evening, MSC Cruises will celebrate the arrival of MSC Divina in Miami.  The ship is one of the company’s newest of most ultra-modern ships, and she will sail year-round to the Caribbean from PortMiami.

MSC Divina spent this past summer in the Mediterranean, following her inaugural season sailing to the Caribbean from Miami from November 2013-April 2015.  The ship’s return marks a milestone for MSC as they increase their focus on the North American market.

Enhancements

During Divina‘s inaugural Caribbean season, MSC catered to the needs of North American guests, with adaptable menus and dining times, Aqua Cycling at sea, and wine blending classes.  With the ship’s return to Miami, the cruise line will continue to make enhancements for the North American audience.  This season, MSC is introducing four new shows to its entertainment lineup on MSC Divina, including “Treasure Island,” “The Voices,” “Swing,” and “The Mask.”  In addition, she will feature new bands and musicians selected for the US market and new themed parties.  Other changes include updated casino offerings and new kids and family activities such as talent shows put on by the kids aboard.

Since MSC’s wine experiences have been so popular, MSC Divina will launch a new experience in partnership with Blend Craft Wines, called “Boutique Winery Tastings.”  Guests will have the opportunity to try rare wines from boutique wineries, and those who participate in tastings can then order many of the wines to be shipped directly to their home.

Welcoming Divina Back to Miami

On Wednesday evening, in honor of Veterans Day and as a part of MSC’s celebrations in welcoming the ship back to Miami, they are hosting a special MSC Cruises Sea Side Salute.  During the event, MSC will honor individuals and companies that have made an impact in veterans lives as well as their families, including employment and community activism.  Following a presentation of honorees, guests will watch Divina sail from PortMiami on her first sailing since returning to the US from the rooftop of the Pérez Art Museum Miami.

Follow along with the celebrations using the hashtag #SeaSideSalute.
