Norwegian was recognized in the first ever Town & Country Cruise Awards. The luxury magazine named the cruise line “Best Overall” as well as “Best Food” in the Mainstream Luxury category. The line was also recognized as a Silver Badge Winner this fall by U.S. News & World Report in their 2017 Best Cruise Lines rankings in the category of “Best Cruise Lines for the Money.” Norwegian also received top ten recognition in the categories of “Best Cruise Lines for Families,” “Best Cruise Lines in the Mediterranean” and “Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean.”
Norwegian received three honors at the 2016 Travel Weekly Reader’s Choice Awards, as readers chose the line for “Best Entertainment”, “Best Cruise Line in Hawaii” for the line’s recently refurbished Pride of America, and “Best Loyalty Program.”
The readers of Porthole Cruise Magazine honored the line with numerous titles in this year’s Reader’s Choice Awards, including “Best Line for Short Cruises,” “Best Mega Ship – Norwegian Escape,” “Best Casinos,” and “Best Cruise Line for Solo Travelers” for the fifth year in a row. They also received “Best Specialty Restaurants, “Best Nightlife,” “Best Hawaii Itineraries,” “Best Bermuda Itineraries,” and “Best Fitness Facilities.” Norwegian’s The Haven stateroom concept was also awarded with “Best Accommodations.” It seems Porthole’s readers really have a thing for Norwegian Cruise Line!
In mid-October, Cruise Critic held their Annual Editors’ Picks Awards, and Norwegian took home “Best Entertainment.” The line features favorites like Rock of Ages, Million Dollar Quartet, Burn the Floor, and more.
