Norwegian Holdings Receives Cuba Approval

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has announced they’ve received approval from the Cuban government to operate cruises there aboard all three of their cruise line brands: Norwegian, Oceania, and Regent Seven Seas.

The company’s first cruise to Cuba will be aboard Oceania’s Marina out of Miami on March 7, 2017.  Itineraries will feature calls in Havana, including many multi-day calls to allow guests plenty of time to explore Havana and the surrounding area.  Regent Seven Seas’ Seven Seas Mariner will call on Havana during two voyages in April.  Norwegian Sky will also offer a selection of four-day cruises that overnight in Havana beginning in May.

Guests sailing on all three brands will have a variety of shore excursions to choose from, all of which offer an authentic Cuban experience in compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s regulations, per the people-to-people stipulation for traveling there.
