Effective on all sailings after August 8, Royal Caribbean will no longer give the option for passengers to request bag tags by mail; instead bag tags will be printed on the guests eDocuements.
“It doesn’t make a difference to me, I always tag my bags at the pier, those little sticky tags aren’t going anywhere,” a Royal Caribbean passenger told us.
Unless you’re a Crown and Anchor Pinnacle member or booked in a Grand Suite or above, the options are — tagging your bags with the porter at the pier (more durable) or using the printed tags on your edocs.
This will not have an impact on the Celebrity Cruises or Azamara Cruises brand.
