What do you get when you cross the unpredictable weather of New York City, a Disney cruise, and an adult having a complete meltdown in front of 100’s of people at LaGuardia airport? This story.
It Happens!
I think it’s safe to say that the vast majority of people understand that stuff happens with air travel, and it’s often unpredictable and sometimes disappointing. This woman at LaGuardia earlier this week, obviously is not one of those people. The plane that was scheduled to depart New York City to Miami was delayed coming in from Miami, because of heavy winds at LaGuardia. It was rerouted to Philadelphia, and it’s safe to say this livid woman was not aware that the desk personnel for American Airlines are not in control of what happens to the aircraft.
Lesson Learned!
We hate to sound redundant actually we don’t care, because there’s a good lesson to be gleaned from this experience. If the woman had travel insurance for herself and her two horrified daughters, she would have ended up being refunded for the cruise, HAD she missed the ship.
A Fairytale Ending
That’s right. The flight ended up leaving just before 9am the next morning, and they made it into Miami with ample time to board their Disney cruise ship. Talk about an entire embarrassing ordeal for nothing.
