1. El Cid Resort

Located just a five minute walk from the cruise piers, the El Cid resort sits on the beach and offers a relaxing day in Cozumel.  They offer a fresh water pool, snorkeling, towel service, and complimentary wifi.  Unlimited food, including a buffet or ordering off a menu, and drinks are included in your day at the resort.  There is also a spa and parasailing for an additional fee.

2. Paradise Beach Resort

Located just a few miles from the cruise port, this resort sits on the beach and features an array of water activities.  This includes water toys, from trampolines, to a water rocker, to water slides and everything in between.  They also have kayaks, snorkeling, and paddleboards as well.  If you’d rather hang out in the pool, you’ll enjoy that too; they boast Cozumel’s largest heated swimming pool.

3. Nachi Cocom

Located just a ten minute taxi ride from the cruise port, this beach club offers a private beach, Jacuzzi, and unlimited open bar.  One neat thing that sets this destination apart is that is offers a three course lunch at your leisure.  It includes Mexican as well as Caribbean specialties.  They also offer snorkeling trips, jet ski and kayak rentals, massages, and parasailing.  With lots of things to choose from, there’s something for everyone here.  Also note, they only allow 100 guests per day, so it won’t be excessively crowded, but book online as soon as possible to make sure you have a spot.

4. El Cozumeleno

Located north of the cruise terminal at a 25 minute taxi ride away, this resort is just minutes away from town and sits on the beach.  They offer five fresh water pools, snorkeling, and a kid’s club.  With putt-putt golf, a tennis court, a pool table, and a Jacuzzi, you won’t be bored here.  They also have five unlimited bars as well as an all-you-can-eat buffet and two a la carte restaurants, which are included in your day pass.

5. Cozumel Palace

Located on the world-famous Palancar Reef, this resort is very close to the cruise port, as well as walking distance to the main plaza.  They offer two fresh water pools, live music, and a kid’s club.  There is also snorkeling gear and scuba instruction for those interested in going to the next level!  There is unlimited breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as unlimited drinks.  With free wifi and activities throughout the day, there’s a lot to do at this resort.
