Adventures by Disney has announced new river cruise offerings for 2018, including special Beauty and the Beast themed experiences along Europe’s Rhine river, and adult-exclusive experiences along both the Rhine and Danube rivers.

Beauty and the Beast

On six departures in 2018, guests will be able to celebrate the quaint villages and culture that inspired the Beauty and the Beast films and take in special experiences.  Travelers will tour Riquewihr, an idyllic French village that is as picturesque as Belle’s hometown in the movie.  Families will enjoy a themed dinner, as well as other culinary offerings inspired by the film.  They can also enjoy screenings of both the live-action and animated versions onboard.

Other Special Sailings

Adventures by Disney is also doubling the number of food and wine themed cruises along the Rhine in 2018, offering two epicurean sailings in the fall.  Hosted by renowned chefs and sommeliers, these adults-only sailings will serve extraordinary food and beverage experiences both onboard and off – including wine tasting and blending, gourmet demos and workshops, culinary walking tours in several ports, and more.

In 2018, there will also be six of the popular Danube river cruise departures.  In addition to summertime and themed holiday sailings, there will be a new adults-only Oktoberfest sailing in September.  The special itinerary will visit Germany during the iconic Oktoberfest celebration, and include festive themed parties and treats onboard the ship, and ashore.

Sailing with AmaWaterways, Adventures by Disney river cruises offer guests a new way to explore the heart of Europe, with little touches of Disney magic along the way.  In fact, Adventures by Disney received the 2016 Cruise Critic Editors’ Award for Best River Cruise Line for Families.  Bookings for the general public open tomorrow March 2, 2017.
