American Queen Voyages has announced updates to its all-inclusive cruise fare. The new pricing structure will include port charges, taxes, service fees, and crew gratuities as of January 2, 2023.
The line’s fares already include things such as a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, transfers between the hotel and the ship, unlimited beverages, room service, and wifi — among other things.

The new fares are structured to offer the convenience of bundled travel costs, without unwelcome hidden costs. The only additional expenses for guests on board will be premium shore excursions, top-shelf alcohol, spa treatments, and purchases in the onboard shops.

“At American Queen Voyages, our ultimate goal is to deliver a cut-above experience for our guests before they even step foot aboard our vessels,” said Cindy D’Aoust, President of American Queen Voyages. “To do this, we are rolling out extra inclusions at one bundled price to create the overall best cost point and financial transparency for our highly-valued guests. After listening to feedback from our travel partners, we knew this new pricing structure was the best way to bundle port charges, taxes, service fees and gratuities into one advertised fare, while offering an increased commission opportunity to our valued cruise travel agents.”

The line has additional plans to continue to elevate the cruise experience for guests, including enhancements to American Duchess planned for next year.
