Today marks the start of a brand new journey for the newly refurbished Azamara Journey. Emerging from an 8-day dry dock at Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore, the 694-guest ship boasts revamped culinary options, refreshed interiors and an elegant new blue exterior hull.

The Azamara Journey’s staterooms received brand new mattresses, carpet and upgraded veranda furniture. To complement the new color palette in public spaces, new carpets and upholstery were installed.  Other upgrades included a resurfaced pool and new sun loungers and pool towels for the outer decks. The Casino Bar was expanded; the Spa and Fitness Center was upgraded with a new steam room and brand new Life Fitness cardio equipment.  Azamara also made sure the crew area was updated too.

Aqualina, one of the ship’s specialty dining venues, will offer a caviar and champagne bar and a new Chef’s table concept. Guests will also enjoy an expanded list of inclusive amenities including gratuities, soda, specialty coffees and tea, and red and white boutique wines.

With unique offerings and dazzling destinations, the twin ships of Azamara offer a truly different cruise experience throughout Europe, Asia and the Pacific, South America and the West Indies. The line focuses on immersion and experiences in each port. Itineraries feature overnight stays and night tours to truly experience each destination.
