Carnival Ecstasy has just returned from a multi-million dollar dry dock that took place from January 10 to 24 in Freeport, Bahamas. The ship returned to her home port in Charleston, South Carolina yesterday to resume her schedule of four to ten-day departures.
New Features
- Guy’s Burger Joint – This free poolside venue was created with Food Network star Guy Fieri and serves hand-crafted burgers and fresh-cut fries with a bar full of tempting toppings.
- BlueIguana Cantina – A complimentary poolside Mexican eatery where guests can nosh on authentic, freshly made burritos and tacos on homemade tortillas, as well as a toppings and salsa bar
- Alchemy Bar – A pharmacy-themed cocktail lounge with mixologists who “prescribe” concoctions with names like Forty is the New Twenty and The Restorative Basil Drop
- Cherry On Top – the “sweetest spot onboard” celebrates the joys of simple indulgences with bins of bulk candy, fun gifts, custom clothing, and more.
The new spaces complement the ship’s existing features, including the RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, WaterWorks aqua park, the Serenity adults-only area, and the spa.
Carnival Ecstasy‘s schedule is year-round four to seven-day sailings visiting popular destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean. The ship will also operate a ten-day Carnival Journeys Caribbean cruise roundtrip from Charleston from November 5 to 15, 2017.
