After a two week stint in drydock Carnival Fascination is slightly delayed returning back to its year-round homeport of Jacksonville, Florida. The 2,056-guest Carnival Fascination, which sails 4- and 5-night cruises from Jacksonville, was delayed leaving drydock in Freeport, Bahamas on Friday afternoon and experienced a run in with some rough seas, delaying arrival.

The ship is expected to arrive into Jacksonville at 6p and embarkation will commence from 8p-11p. The ship is expected to depart shortly after embarkation.

According to the cruise line, “Guests will receive a refund for the first day of the cruise, including gratuities, as well as a shipboard credit in the amount of $40 per person as reimbursement for lunch and dinner today.”

The delay is not expected to affect the five-night itinerary.
