For the launch of the 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze, Carnival Cruise Line has recruited former American Idol alumni Janell Wheeler to document her sailing on the inaugural cruise out of Venice, Italy. Janell will record her voyage through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, along with interactive polls to determine what the former idol star does next. There will also be live chats and engagements on Google Hangout and Twitter.
All of the footage will be shot using a handheld camera to give the audience following along a first-hand look as she tackles the thrill theater, ropes course, water park and tons of new dining options.
The journey starts June 2 on Carnival Breeze’s 12-night sailing and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
