Carnival Sunshine Makes Inaugural Calls in Tobago and Barbados

Carnival Sunshine recently made her first calls in the islands of Barbados and Tobago, during a 13-day Carnival Journeys cruise that returned to Port Canaveral on March 5. Representatives from both islands went aboard the ship for receptions to celebrate the Sunshine’s first calls to the exciting destinations.

Carnival Journeys is a series of 9-15 day cruises that feature unique ports and onboard experiences that headline local food, entertainment, and opportunities.  They also feature enrichment seminars, Q&A sessions with shipboard employees, and a special 1980’s themed “Throwback Sea Day,” which gives today’s cruisers a glimpse of what cruising was like decades ago.  It features a dazzling midnight buffet, the staff dressing up as if it were the 1980’s, retro deck games, a white glove Captain’s Celebration, and more.

Carnival Sunshine will continue her Caribbean sailings from Port Canaveral, then from June to November, do a number of voyages from New York, Norfolk, and Charleston.
