Carnival Corporation has announced the launch of their Celebrity Apprentice Charity Challenge, an online contest in conjunction with the upcoming season of NBC’s “The New Celebrity Apprentice.” The show premieres on January 2 at 8 pm eastern time.
Designed to support the chosen charities by the show’s contestants, the challenge builds on Carnival’s sponsorship of the program’s two-part season finale, which is set to air on February 6 and 13.

Beginning today and through the duration of the season, consumers can visit apprenticecruisechallenge.com to learn about the celebrities and charities involved in the show, and cast votes for their favorites. After they vote, viewers are encouraged to share their choice on social media using #ApprenticeCharityChallenge to inspire their friends to vote, too.
In return for the vote, viewers will be entered to win weekly cruise giveaways from three of Carnival Corporation’s North American brands, as well as the grand prize of a cruise each year for life. In addition, Carnival will make donations to the charities of the contestants who were voted off the show that week, bringing further attention to the organizations. The company’s donations to all 16 of the contestant’s charitable groups will total $145,000.
Challenge Specifics
Each vote cast will automatically enter the fan into that weeks’ pool eligible for the free cruises, as well as the larger pool eligible for the grand prizes. Following the season finale, a runner-up grand prize winner will be chosen to receive one cruise a year for five years, and an overall grand prize winner will receive one cruise per year for life. Cruise giveaways are eligible for three, four, or seven-day itineraries on Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America, and Princess Cruises.
Voting is open to begin now through 8 pm on Monday, January 2 ahead of the show’s premiere. Following the airing, a winner will be chosen for the weekly cruise giveaway and the contest pool will reset for the next week. Voting will chose each week at 8 pm on Monday ahead of the show, and will reopen for the following week at 2 am the next morning. Viewers can cast one vote per celebrity, per day.
