Carnival Vista Makes Inaugural Call to Belize

Carnival Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship Carnival Vista made its inaugural call in Belize earlier this week.

The ship is the largest in the line’s fleet, and can hold 3,936 guests and 1,450 crew members.  The maritime tradition of exchanging plaques took place onboard between the ship’s captain and the Belize Tourism Board.

Vista was completed this past March, and delivered in April.  She spent her inaugural season in the Mediterranean, before repositioning to New York City for a pair of cruises this fall.  In November, she sailed down to her new homeport in Miami, where she will sail year-round.  The ship operates 6 and 8-day cruises to the Caribbean, calling in ports like Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire.
