About Awards

The Best Cruises awards are based on feedback from a panel of judges from popular cruise magazines and websites who chose their favorites in an array of categories.  Carnival was the only cruise line to win multiple awards this year.

Carnival Miracle earned its “Best Mexican Cruise” honor because of its attractive week-long Mexican Riviera cruises from Long Beach, as well as its recent Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades including the RedFrog pub, Alchemy Bar, and the family program Seuss at Sea.

The “Best Theme Cruises” honors for Carnival’s Carnival LIVE Concert Series was awarded because of its shows by major musical artists who perform onboard while ships are docked in port.  Carnival LIVE, now in its second year, will welcome artists like Lionel Richie, Heart, and BOSTON this fall.

The “Unexpected Cruise for Food” award for the Carnival Breeze was won because of their wide range of tasty choices, including Guy’s Burger Joint developed with Food Network star Guy Fieri, the hand-rolled delicacies at Bonsai Sushi, prime cuts of beef at Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, and Italian favorites at Cucina del Capitano.
