Seven-time Grammy Award-winning country music star Carrie Underwood had the crowd singing and dancing as she performed a sold-out show aboard Carnival Imagination earlier this week in Catalina Island.
The experience was part of the line’s Carnival LIVE Concert Series, which brings the best in live entertainment to the seas in an intimate setting. Performances are held in the ships’ main show lounges, which range in capacity from 750 to 1,400 – meaning there’s never a bad seat in the house.

The concert wrapped up a year-long partnership between Carnival and Underwood, who also performed a concert for military families aboard the new Carnival Vista. The show celebrated the ship’s arrival into New York City, and was the culmination of a year-long Honor. Family. Fun. program supporting Operation Homefront.
The concert that Carrie put on is part of Carnival’s impressive 2017 Carnival LIVE lineup, which has included performances by Tim McGraw and comedian Jim Gaffigan. Country group Little Big Town and comedians Jay Leno and Jeff Foxworthy will also perform on seven different ships departing from five US homeports in the weeks to come.
