Beginning this month, Costa Cruises has expanded their perks and amenities program for guests traveling in a suite. Perks include complimentary meals at Club Restaurant, unlimited drinks, and special access to private activities and events.
The cruise line’s Club Restaurants are now reserved for suite guests, where they can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner – all included. Guests not staying in a suite are still able to dine there, but with limited availability and for a fee. The restaurant serves dishes from various regions of Italy, and also has vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Guests can also dine in the main dining room as usual, and those who want to dine in another speciality venue receive priority when making reservations.
Suite guests also receive something else very exciting: a complimentary drink package. The Intenditore beverage package to be exact, which is the highest level one that Costa offers. It includes unlimited drinks priced up to 9 euros on bar menus, drinks from the mini bar or served in the cabin, and refined pairings of wines selected for Costa by the Italian Sommelier Association with meals in restaurants or at the buffet.
Throughout the voyage, suite guests can enjoy activities such as wine tastings, a day pass to the thermal area in the spa, private cocktail events, and front row seats to the main theater shows. In their suite, guests can indulge in full meals and room service, and enjoy a welcome bottle of wine, a coffee maker, fresh fruit daily, bathrobes and slippers, a pillow menu, and organic cotton sheets. A private butler will shoe-shine, and is available to book onboard series and tours, as well as unpack luggage.
For guests sailing from Barcelona, Spain, or Savona, Italy the special treatment begins right when they arrive in the cruise terminal. Suite guests have access to a VIP area where they can enjoy sparkling wine, coffee, and a variety of snacks.
