CroisiEurope Introduces New River Ships

This year’s cruising season has only just begun, but CroisiEurope has already been quite busy.  They’ve introduced two new ships to their fleet, another is coming in June, and a fourth and fifth will be making their debut in August and December.  The US Tour Operators Association has also announced CroisiEurope as its newest active member.

MS Symphonie II

The first of the line’s new premium ships, the ms Symphonie II was inaugurated in Strasbourg on March 17.  The vessel replaces the original Symphonie and joins the other five premium ships within the Danube/Rhine fleet.  CroisiEurope designed the ship to feature lots of open spaces with natural light, and used high quality materials throughout the interior.

The ship is 361 feet long and holds 110 passengers in 55 cabins, with one designed for accessibility.  The expansive public spaces include a bar and lounge with dance floor, a large restaurant, a sun deck with chaise loungers, and a boutique.

MS Miguel Torga

On March 30, the Schmitter family inaugurated the ms Miguel Torga in Porto, Portugal.  The vessel was named after the famous short-story writer and poet who was born in the Sabrosa Region in 1907; considered one of the most influential writers of the 20th century.

The three-deck ship is 262 feet long and holds 132 guests in 66 cabins, including one designed for accessibility.  A lounge with scenic views, panoramic restaurant, boutique, large sun deck, and large pool provide the ultimate comfort for travelers.
