Four Princess outdoor dining venues have been renovated and renamed:

The Salty Dog Grill – formerly the Trident Grill, this is the classic poolside grill, serving up signature Princess burgers with buns freshly baked onboard, hot dogs, and loaded fries. You’ll also find new Street Tacos with chipotle-lime chicken or roasted sweet potato-green chile at this reimagined venue. For a small charge, “The Ernesto” specialty burger is also available.

Slice – formerly Prego Pizzeria, passengers here can try the line’s signature classic Neapolitan-style pizza, which has been touted as the best pizza at sea by multiple media outlets and frequent cruisers. New menu items include Deep Dish Focaccia, California Artisanal Toast, and Sliced Stromboli.

Coffee & Cones – formerly Sundaes Ice Cream Bar, this double-purpose bar offers both gourmet ice cream treats and specialty coffee on the top deck, for when you want something hot and cold.

The Mix – formerly Mermaid’s Tale, this poolside bar has been refreshed and is the perfect spot to catch up after a busy day in port or at sea.

Cabins

The Princess Luxury Bed is now available in every stateroom aboard Crown Princess. The special bed and bedding were developed by Princess in collaboration with sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus and HGTV designer Candice Olson.

The ship features a new cabin category, which has been rolling out on other ships in the fleet – Club Class Mini-Suites. The elevated mini-suite category features Club Class Dining, a reserved dining area with expanded menu choices, as well as priority embarkation and disembarkation.

Kid’s Clubs

The youth center has been reimagined into Camp Discovery as part of Princess’ Discovery at SEA program. Kids and teens are divided into a number of age groups with their own spaces, and can participate in special activities created in partnership with Discovery Communications.

Other Changes

The shops onboard have been updated, with a new Effy Fine Jewelry boutique and new product lines including Princess branded athletic wear and logo apparel in the newly designed Logo shop.

The casino has received upholstery and fixture updates with new carpeting, light fixtures, and bar TV screens. In the spa, treatment and salon rooms have been refreshed, and the latest fitness equipment is now available in the onboard gym.
