Princess Cruises Delays Sapphire Princess Restart

Princess Cruises has delayed the restart for its ship Sapphire Princess to September 24.

The vessel was originally scheduled to operate Mexican Riviera itineraries from LA this summer, starting at the end of June. This plan was new for Princess, which usually deploys all of its west coast ships to Alaska for the summer season.

The line had previously hoped to have its entire fleet back in service by September. It has not given a reason for Sapphire’s restart delay.
