Wonder of the Seas Cruise Oversold… Again
Another oversold situation is underway for Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas. Some guests booked on the ship’s seven-night April 30th voyage out of Port Canaveral received an email from Royal Caribbean saying that the sailing has been oversold.
To fix the error, one of the options Royal Caribbean is offering is for guests to receive a full refund AND pick another cruise among a few options at a later date and with a different itinerary.
This is the third time in five months that Wonder of the Seas has dealt with overbooking issues. Royal Caribbean also oversold voyages on the same ship in December and March due to “an unexpected inventory error.”
Just last week, sister line Celebrity Cruises also reached out to guests to inform them that it had oversold a variety of Japan cruises aboard its ship Celebrity Millennium.
Discovery Channel to Air New Show About Crew Life on Luxury Ship
You’ll soon be able to go below deck on luxury ship Scenic Eclipse. Warner Bros. Discovery has announced that it will be debuting a new docu-series about crew life on board the small ship.
The show, called Maritime Masters: Expedition Antarctica, is narrated by captains and crew members as they provide a behind-the-scenes looks of daily operations. The series will also document the locations the ship visits across seven continents, including Antarctica.
Maritime Masters is set to premiere on the Discovery Channel internationally in mid-May.
