Carnival Sunshine 2025 Norfolk Cruises Open For Booking
Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the first series of its year-round cruises on Carnival Sunshine from Norfolk are now open for booking.
The sailings, which include those from February 18th through April 2025, are the start of a planned year-round schedule for Sunshine from the Virginia cruise port. From Norfolk, the vessel will rotate between six-night Bahamas cruises and eight-night Caribbean sailings.
This builds on Carnival’s commitment to expanding its operations in Norfolk. Last month, the line announced plans to offer a six-month series of four to 10-night voyages on Carnival Magic from the port in 2023.

Guests on board reported hearing the man overboard alert around 5 am while the ship was about 18 miles off the coast of its homeport, Port Canaveral. The ship stayed in the area to search, along with crew from the Coast Guard by boat and helicopter.
The 36 year old passenger’s body was located around 7:30 am.
Meraviglia was returning from a four-night Bahamas cruise, and her arrival back to port was delayed about five hours due to the incident.
