Carnival Announces Carnival Radiance Directors

Carnival Cruise Line has announced the cruise director and entertainment director for the inaugural season of Carnival Radiance.

The cruise director will be Ryan Rose, who joined Carnival as a host DJ and fun squad team member in 2015. Most recently, he served as cruise director on Carnival Inspiration. Bradley Cripps will serve as entertainment director. The England native joined Carnival as a sports manager in 2015, and was named entertainment director in 2018.

Carnival Radiance will set sail from Long Beach on Mexico cruises on December 13.

Global Cruise Capacity to Go Up 8.4% This Month

239 ships are set to be back in passenger service this month, pushing global cruise capacity up to 8.4 percent according to Cruise Industry News.

Compared to November, there will be an additional 30,000 berths back in service in December on 28 ships.

By the end of the year, nearly 60 percent of the global cruise fleet will be back to sailing.

Crystal Announces Zero Single Supplement Fee Promotion

Crystal Cruises has announced a new zero single supplement promotion for the first time on one of its ocean ships.

For 15 Crystal Symphony cruises next year, there will be no supplement fee for solo passengers.

Eligible voyages depart from six homeports in North America in Europe, including seven-night voyages from Miami and San Juan, and seven to 10-night cruises in Europe. Guests must book by January 5 to take advantage of the offer.
