Margaritaville at Sea Lifts Pre-Cruise Testing
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Sea is the latest cruise line to lift pre-cruise testing. The line announced on Friday that as of July 23, vaccinated guests will no longer be required to submit a negative test result to sail.
Unvaccinated passengers must continue submitting a negative test result taken no more than one day prior to departure.
Margaritaville at Sea operates one ship from the Port of Palm Beach to the Bahamas.
The news came on the heels of the same announcement from Virgin Voyages on Thursday.

Carnival Reopens Night Owls Program
Carnival Cruise Line’s brand ambassador John Heald revealed on Facebook Thursday that its nighttime kids’ program, Night Owls, has restarted.
He said “Our goal is to offer Night Owls every evening of the cruise, which is happening on a lot of ships. However, there may still be a few ships where it will be offered the majority of the evenings but maybe not one or two nights.”
Kids under two are welcome in Night Owls, and they can also now spend time in Camp Ocean on some port day mornings until lunchtime.
Silversea Cruises Announces 2025 World Voyage
Silversea Cruises has announced its 2025 world cruise, which will visit 59 destinations in 30 countries.
Silver Dawn will depart Tokyo for the 136 day journey on January 13, 2025. The voyage will take guests through Asia and Europe before calling in Canada and New England before concluding in New York City. It will include 33 overnight port calls, as well as three optional overland programs.
Those that don’t want to commit to the entire voyage can opt for one of 10 shorter segments that will also be available for booking.
Bookings are now open for Venetian Society members, and open to the general public on August 2nd.
