Disney Cruise Line Adjusts Vaccine Policy

Disney Cruise Line has adjusted its policy to require that kids 5 and older are vaccinated as of January 13.

Currently and through January 12, only guests 12 and older are required to be fully vaccinated.

Those currently booked on Disney Dream and Fantasy through May 30, Magic through May 8, and Wonder through April 17 can cancel by December 1 with no Disney-imposed cancelation fees.

Celebrity Cuts Steel on Next Edge-Class Ship

Celebrity Cruises has cut steel on its next Edge-class ship, which will be called Celebrity Ascent.

The steel-cutting, which officially kicks off construction, took place at a shipyard in France. Executives from both the cruise company and the shipyard were in attendance.

Ascent is the line’s fourth Edge-class ship following Celebrity Edge, Apex, and Beyond. She is set to debut in early 2023.

Azamara Announces 2024 World Voyage

Azamara has announced a 155-night world cruise aboard its newest ship, Azamara Onward.

The sailing will depart on January 4, 2024 from Port Everglades, and visit over 40 countries on six continents. Wonders of the World will be a focus on the itinerary, with highlights including the Great Pyramids, Petra, the Great Barrier Reef, the Colosseum, and the Taj Mahal.

Fares for the entire trip start at $34,699 per person, and bookings will open to the public on December 7.
