Cruise Guest Goes Overboard

A guest went into the ocean after leaning over a railing on Carnival Magic.

The man was reported missing by his travel companion, and an initial review of security footage went into the water earlier Monday morning.

In a statement, “He was reported missing by his companion late Monday afternoon and an initial review of closed circuit security footage confirms that he leaned over the railing of his stateroom balcony and dropped into the water at approximately 4:10 am early Monday morning.”

The US Coast Guard has suspended its search, and the ship has been permitted to continue on course.

Stay safe out there.
