Royal Caribbean Announces 2022-23 Weeklong Caribbean Sailings

For the first time, Royal Caribbean mega-ship Allure of the Seas will be headed to Texas in 2022.

The Oasis class ship will homeport at the line’s new terminal in Galveston for the 2022-2023 winter season.

From there, Allure will sail seven-night cruises to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Honduras.

Virgin and MSC Cancel More Cruises

Virgin Voyages has pushed back its inaugural sailing date, after hoping to finally launch Scarlet Lady in May 2021. Now, the line plans to start sailing on July 1.

And MSC Cruises has also pushed back its return in the Caribbean, canceling sailings through May 31. Previously, the line had suspended voyages through April.

Former Holland America Band Member Featured on ‘The Voice’

A former Holland America B.B. King’s Blues Club band member has auditioned for The Voice on NBC.

Dana Monique wowed the judges during blind auditions on the show’s season 20 premiere, and chose to be on Nick Jonas’ team.

Soon, Monique will go head-to-head with other members of Team Nick. If voted off, she’ll have the chance to be “stolen” by one of the other coaches.
