Cruise Ships Prepare to Sail in Alaska
We are getting more information on where cruise ships will be sailing in Alaska this summer. As we mentioned yesterday, Norwegian, Carnival, Princess, and Holland America Line are all planning to sail from Seattle to Alaska as early as July.
All the cruise lines, even Carnival, will require guests to be vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the sailing.
Carnival will start on July 27 with Carnival Miracle, Holland America will start on July 24 aboard New Amsterdam, Princess Cruises will start on July 25 on Majestic Princess, and Norwegian will start on August 7 with Norwegian Bliss.
Norwegian Airs Another Docuseries Episode
Norwegian Cruise Line’s EMBARK docuseries aired last night on the company’s Facebook page.
The episode provided insight into the guest and crew safety protocols that are being implemented both on the ships and on land, and will also give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay.
As of the time of broadcast, Norwegian’s first ship back will be Norwegian Jade from Athens, Greece on July 25.
You can catch the entire episode at ncl.com/embark.
