Fun Just Ahead for Harmony of the Seas

Family fun is going to heights unheard of at sea when Harmony of the Seas debuts in May of this year.  The megaship, set to sail in the Mediterranean, will include the DreamWorks Experience, enhanced entertainment in Adventure Ocean, the tallest slide at sea, and a new collection of family amenities.

DreamWorks Characters Set Sail

When Harmony debuts, she will bring along a familiar cast of DreamWorks Animation characters, including Po, Shrek, Fiona, Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo, and the Penguins.  Guests will be able to take part in activities and events based on DreamWorks’ characters, including a character breakfast, meet and greets, and photo opportunities.

The cruise line’s youngest guests can enjoy fun-filled activities, including dance parties, story time, and games based on the popular films.  Families will also be granted guaranteed seats on “opening weekend” for movies such as “Kung Fu Panda 3,” which will premiere onboard the same day as on land.  Year-round, travelers can watch DreamWorks films in the ship’s 3D theater and on a dedicated channel in their stateroom.

Enhanced Adventure Ocean Activities

Royal Caribbean’s Adventure Ocean kid’s program will offer guests ages 3-11 a line-up of activities and games that are sure to keep them entertained and busy for hours.  A new offering in the ship’s Adventure Ocean Theater will be Away We Go!, a black light puppet show created by Tony award-nominated actors and acclaimed producers.  Additionally, the YouTube show “Muffalo Potato” will be onboard.  It’s a program that teaches kids to draw anything in minutes using nothing but letters and numbers.  The show debuted aboard Anthem of the Seas, and will expand fleetwide in time for summer sailings.

New Amenities for Boardwalk and Central Park Staterooms

Harmony of the Seas, as well as Oasis and Allure, will be able to enjoy a new collection of added perks to balcony staterooms overlooking the Central Park and Boardwalk outdoor neighborhoods.  Beginning in November, guests with Central Park views will be able to enjoy lunch for two at Jamie’s Italian – a rustic Italian eatery in partnership with Jamie Oliver.  On Allure and Oasis, guests can enjoy Giovanni’s Table.  A complimentary bottle of red wine will be given upon arrival, and there will also be special perks in the Casino Royale.  Guests with Boardwalk views will receive lunch or dinner for four at Johnny Rockets, a soda package for two, and private time on the ship’s rock climbing wall.
