Holland America Line is introducing two new promotions for travelers who book select 2016 and 2017 cruises by February 29. Onboard spending credits are being added to the cruise line’s “View and Verandah” promotion, and guests can receive two free shore excursions on cruises at select ports in Australia, Asia, South America, and New Zealand.
Australia & New Zealand
Guests cruising aboard ms Noordam or ms Maasdam on select sailings from September to March can pick two free shore excursions from Holland America. These will be offered when the ships visit Melbourne, Australia; or Auckland, Picton, or Wellington, New Zealand.
Guests sailing from October to April aboard ms Volendam will receive free tours while in Kagoshima, Japan; Halong Bay, Vietnam; Jeju City, South Korea; or Nathon, Ko Samui, Thailand.
Select cruises aboard ms Zaandam from October to March will find cruisers being able to select free excursions while in Puerto Montt, Chile, and Montevideo, Uruguay.
The popular “View and Verandah” promotion is getting an upgrade. The cruise line is now including free onboard credit for guests who book select cruises by February 29. Guests on cruises 7-9 days will receive up to $300, 10-14 days up to $400, and 15+ days, up to $500 per stateroom.
In addition to the onboard credit, guests on select departures and ships will receive stateroom upgrades. Booked interior staterooms will be upgraded to an outside stateroom, and booked ocean-views will be upgraded to a verandah. Deposits have also been lowered to as little as $100 for cruises up to 21 days long.
Select Collectors’ Voyages are also eligible for up to 25 percent off under the View and Verandah promotion. These special cruises combine back-to-back voyages to form a longer itinerary.
Cruisers that reserve select shore excursions before cruises can save up to 10 percent if they book by March 15. This date extends beyond the View and Verandah deadline, and over 1,500 tours will feature these savings.
