MSC to Offer Formula 1 Grand Prix Experience Packages, Ship to Be Used as Floating Hotel

MSC Cruises is furthering its partnership with Formula 1 today by introducing a new high-end Grand Prix experience, promising an exciting race weekend experience at this year’s F1 Grand Prix happening November 24-26th in Abu Dhabi.

The line’s ship MSC Virtuosa will be docked at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal throughout the race weekend, serving as a cruise ship hotel with a fully integrated Grand Prix experience. A range of packages are available that combine accommodation, race tickets, and insider access with F1 Experiences. They start at $800 per person.

Regardless of which package guests choose, their accommodation on the ship will include free transfers to Yas Marina Circuit, onboard wifi, breakfast and dinner onboard, themed activities onboard, and access to other amenities on the ship.

Cabin Only

Those who already have race tickets can choose the ‘cabin only’ option.

Cabin + F1 Ticket

The Cabin + F1 ticket package combines onboard accommodation with a three-day Grandstand ticket to the race.

Cabin + F1 Experience

The Cabin + F1 Experience combines balcony onboard accommodation with a three-day Grandstand ticket, an exclusive Pit Lane Walk, a Guided Track Tour, a Championship Trophy Photo, and F1 Ambassador / Executive appearances onboard the ship.

Cabin + F1 Premium Hospitality

The Cabin + F1 Premium Hospitality package includes suite accommodation and a three-day Premium Hospitality Pass to choose among the Turn 1 Suite and F1 Paddock Club. The Turn 1 Suite includes premium trackside views and table-service hospitality, a Guided Paddock Tour, and exclusive extras. The F1 Paddock Club includes an F1 Pit Lane Walk, a Track Tour, F1 Drivers and Ambassadors appearances, open bar, and world-class dining.

MSC Virtuosa will be in port from November 23-27, allowing guests to extend their time in town. The city center is close by, making the ship the perfect base for the long weekend.

In 2022, MSC Cruises signed a multi-year deal to become a F1 Global Partner.
