New Cruise Ship Pub A Great Dining Alternative

On Carnival Cruise Line’s new Carnival Breeze, food is everywhere it seems. Boasting no-charge 24-hour room service, new branded venue’s Guy’s Burger Joint the Blue Iguana Cantina and others, there is no shortage of choices for dining around the clock.  But one venue that seems to be slipping under the radar but allows yet another option is the Red Frog Pub’s appetizer menu.

For early diners, this may be one of the easiest ways to grab a quick meal and then get back to the business of whatever it is they may be doing.  Centrally located on deck five, the venue serves appetizers ranging from  “Firecracker Jamaican Wings” to “Kicked Up Conch Fritters” and a whole lot in between.

Each selection carries a nominal and well worth it $3.33 charge.

We stopped in at 6:00 one night, found the place empty, and enjoyed a quick meal before a stroll though the ship’s Ocean Plaza area.  There, we enjoyed some freshly-made ice cream and that was it: done with dinner…although we still could have continued on to our regular dining room service.

The frog did not forget dessert though. The popular space offers Icky Sticky Coconut Cake (coconut cake and nut crumbles in rich caramel-rum sauce) for $2.22.
