It is quite possible one of the biggest cruise events of the year as Norwegian Breakaway sailed into New York Harbor this past Tuesday, the largest ship to homeport in NYC.
The ship was christened in by the popular NYC-based Rockettes on Wednesday at a web-televised ceremony aboard the vessel.
Norwegian Breakaway offers a slew of entertainment, over 20 dining options, nightly fireworks, an outdoor sports complex with a ropes course and a pirate-style walk-the-plank the extends over the edge of the ship for guests daring to do so.
The 4,000-guest Norwegian Breakaway is home-ported in NYC year-round, offering seven-night cruises to Bermuda and the Caribbean.
