2013 marks the 10th anniversary of Savour Food & Wine and the launch of a new cocktail-inspired event. Every weekend in February features a different marquee culinary event that is sure to delight the taste buds.
Dine Around kicks off the festival on Feb. 1 and lasts the entire month with more restaurants than ever offering special prix fixe menus; Decadence presents an evening of wine, chocolate and cheese to tantalize the senses on Feb. 7; on Feb. 15 the Rare & Fine Wine event allows guests to taste a selection of over 30 highly rated wines otherwise not available in Nova Scotia; Imbibe: A Cocktail Story, the newest Savour event, invites guests to experience incredible drinks created by talented local mixologists on Feb. 21; and the culinary excitement explodes on Feb. 28 at Savour Food & Wine Show where 60 vendors will come together to showcase the finest restaurants, wines and gourmet products.
