Princess Cruises will soon crown this year’s winner for top guest entertainer during the line’s sixth annual Entertainer of the Year competition. Four finalists have been chosen from an array of onboard performers, including vocalists, comedians, magicians, tribute bands, and other acts who delight guests each year.
Guests aboard the February 25, 2017 7-day cruise to Mexico on Ruby Princess will be able to cast their vote after viewing several live performances from each nominee during the voyage.
The four nominees in the running for “Entertainer of the Year” are:

Cheaza Figueroa – Vocalist Cheaza Figueroa is a multi-talented performer who has appeared on NBC, MTV’s “The X Factor,” CBS’s “South of Nowhere,” and has even hosted on the CW Network. As an improvisation backup singer for Wayne Brady, Figueroa has graced stages like Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Las Vegas where she performed as the lead singer and host of “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood. She was also voted “Best Singer of Las Vegas” in 2013 by The Las Vegas Review-Journal.
John Bressler – Musician John Bressler is a multi-talented piano player and keyboardist who is known for his large stage presence. His performances feature talent, passion, wit, and a all-around likability. His blend of beautiful music and interactive comedy is one-of-a-kind, making his show a don’t-miss type of event.
Robbie Printz – Comedian Robbie Printz delivers a dynamic performance serving as a reminder of childhood wonders and adulthood absurdities. Those elements, combined with high energy and a fast pace, keeps guests of all ages laughing from beginning to end. Printz’s act has been seen on networks such as Comedy Central, NBC, MTV, and A&E.
Steve Larkins – From his home in New Zealand, musician Steve Larkins travels around the world to perform his remarkably accurate impression of Freddie Mercury, as a tribute to the music of Queen. International appearances include corporate events at the Olympics in Beijing, The Legends Theatre in Las Vegas, and South Africa, Australia, and Europe. With a similar physical appearance to Freddie and a vocal range with equal power, Larkins’ entertaining show regularly brings audiences of every age group to their feet in applause.
The finalists have been chosen by Princess Cruises’ entertainment department based on guest surveys and onboard audience response. The winner will hold the title of “2016 Princess Cruises Entertainer of the Year,” and will be announced on the final evening of the cruise during a celebratory event in the piazza. They will also receive a $5,000 cash prize.
The Entertainer of the Year voyage will depart Los Angeles on February 25 for a Mexican Riviera cruise, and visit Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas.
