We recently chatted with Cruising Excursions and asked some questions concerning European cruising and things to do in the ports of call. See what they had to say!
How can we skip the lines in Rome?
Our popular Vatican Visit and Rome Highlights tour includes entrance tickets for the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. These ‘skip the line’ tickets allow will get you through security without lining up. This Essential Collection tour also includes all the must-see attractions in Rome such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Colosseum.
The start time can be arranged to suit your ship’s itinerary and you will be met at the Port of Civitavecchia by a Cruising Excursions representative. This will be a professional English speaking tour guide. The drive from the port to central Rome takes about 1.5 hours. Throughout the drive, your guide will give you as much commentary and information as you like. Your guide will stay with you throughout the day, except on your free time and entrance into the Vatican.
