Royal Caribbean International has announced when it will be returning to China: April 2024.
That month, the brand’s “smart ship” Spectrum of the Seas will begin operating four and five-night voyages from Shanghai to destinations including Fukuoka, Okinawa, Nagasaki, Osaka, and Tokyo, Japan. The ship will also offer eight voyages from Hong Kong starting in December 2024 to destinations including Ishigaki and Miyazaki, Japan; Taipei (Keelung), Taiwan, China; and Nha Trang, Vietnam.
And sailing in Asia for the first time, Anthem of the Seas will operate voyages from Singapore in late 2024.

Spectrum of the Seas
Specially designed for Asia, Spectrum of the Seas features a variety of restaurants with regionally-inspired menus and entertainment including Hot Pot, Teppanyaki, Sichuan Red, karaoke lounge Smart Moment, and original theater productions like Showgirls.
The vessel also features the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, the North Star observation capsule, and The Effectors in the Royal Theater — a transformative venue that comes alive with performers, robots, and more.
The ship’s suite enclave includes a two-story Ultimate Family Suite featuring an in-suite slide, accommodating up to 11 guests.
