Royal Caribbean Details Upcoming Ship Refit

Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas will be undergoing a $61 million refurbishment, and debut her changes this coming November.  She is the fifth ship to be revitalized, and this will be the largest investment for the cruise line so far.

New features will include new dual racer waterslides, Cyclone and Typhoon; FlowRider surf simulator, and Splashaway Bay, a kids waterpark.  Additionally, guests will be able to enjoy Izumi Japanese Cuisine, Chops Grille, and Boleros Latin Lounge.  The ship will also be receiving over 100 new staterooms, a refresh of existing ones, and a new Suites Lounge.

Other features offered on the ship include the spa and fitness center, three pools, a rock climbing wall, Johnny Rockets, a three-story main dining room, an ice-skating rink, and Royal Promenade with shopping, parties, and parades.

Adventure of the Seas sails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and stops in destinations including Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten.
