It’s no secret that Food Network star Guy Fieri has done very well in his partnership so far with Carnival Cruise Line. Every guest I’ve ever heard of that has tried a burger from Guy’s Burger Joint aboard their ships has raved about it. Of course, if his name is synonymous with great food, Carnival is going to use that, and their partnership, to the highest advantage. Enter Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. It’s a brand new complimentary barbecue smokehouse restaurant that’s currently only available aboard Carnival Magic, and I’m betting that it’s already a smashing home run. The open-air spot aboard the ship lends the ability for the smell of smoked, barbecue-smothered meat to waft around the deck, luring guests to its doors. It has menu items such as Championship Pork Butt, Smoked Andouille Sausage, and Guy’s famous Blue Ribbon Chicken; as well as sides like Mac Daddy Mac ‘n Cheese and Old Skool Potato Salad. Of course, they only use Guy’s line of signature barbecue sauces, so it’s got to be the best barbecue at sea.
