Carnival Cruise Line is once again reminding guests to follow its “Have Fun. Be Safe.” guidelines, reinforcing a list of rules meant to ensure a smooth onboard experience for everyone.

The notice, placed in staterooms across the fleet, covers curfews, noise restrictions, prohibited items, and penalties for misconduct.
Letter in Staterooms
The letter says that children 17 and under must be out of public areas by 1 a.m. unless with an adult from their party.
Guests are also encouraged to avoid loud behavior in the hallways, use headphones for personal devices, and avoid smoking outside designated areas, including balconies.
Infractions such as smoking violations or tossing items overboard come with a $500 fine and may lead to a ban from sailing with Carnival.
Handheld fans and beverages are now prohibited in nightclubs and indoor dance floors.
The use of illegal substances, including marijuana, even in ports where it may be legal, is strictly forbidden both onboard and ashore.
The renewed push for order follows a string of disruptive incidents on Carnival ships.
In April, a brawl at the Port of Galveston during disembarkation from Carnival Jubilee resulted in 24 passengers being banned.
That followed other recent altercations aboard ships like Carnival Magic and Carnival Paradise.
Carnival says that guests whose actions negatively affect the comfort or safety of others may be fined, disembarked at their own expense, and placed on a no-sail list.
The company tells passengers to report any concerns directly to guest services or security.
The cruise line says the rules aren’t just about avoiding trouble, they’re meant to keep the vacation atmosphere fun and safe for all aboard.
