Captain Gennaro Arma expressed pride in leading the newbuild team and now welcoming guests aboard for the first voyage. “We warmly invite guests to experience the extraordinary service Princess is known for,” he said.

The 177,800-ton vessel accommodates up to 4,300 guests across 1,500 balcony staterooms and offers 30 dining and bar venues, along with expanded entertainment venues.

About Star Princess

Entertainment highlights onboard include two new original theatrical shows, Meridian and Illuminate, performed in the technologically advanced Princess Arena.

The magic-themed Spellbound show returns, inspired by legendary illusionist Richard Valentine Pitchford, known as The Great Cardini. Other activities include vibrant deck parties, Piazza celebrations, a champagne waterfall, and a new Candlelight Concert Series held in the glass-enclosed Dome.

Key features include the signature Piazza with panoramic glass views, the expanded O’Malley’s Irish Pub and Love by Britto dining spaces, and Princess’ Love Line premium liquor collection featuring celebrity collaborators like Camila and Matthew McConaughey and Jason Momoa.

Guests can also access wellness options such as the two-story Lotus Spa, fitness center with classes, pools, a new sports court for pickleball and basketball, jogging track, splash pad, and shaded lounges.

Looking Ahead

The maiden season includes calls at Marseille, Rome (Civitavecchia), Naples, Sicily, Cartagena, and Gibraltar before returning to Barcelona. Following a 7-day Mediterranean cruise and a transatlantic crossing, Star Princess will arrive in Fort Lauderdale for her Caribbean season and official naming ceremony on November 6, 2025.

In winter and spring 2026, the ship will continue Caribbean cruises, then reposition via the Panama Canal to Seattle for 7-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises during the summer.
