Carnival Cruise Line opened 2026 to 2027 bookings for various cruises departing from Norfolk, Port Canaveral, Miami, and San Francisco.

Four ships, including Carnival Luminosa, will transport guests to popular destinations in Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, and more.
Sail From San Francisco With Carnival Luminosa
From Brisbane, Australia, Carnival Luminosa will reposition to San Francisco during a 22-day Carnival Journeys voyage.
The ship will then offer cruises from the Golden City to Alaska, offering 10-day itineraries from April 27 to September 10, 2026. Departing on Mondays and Thursdays, the Spirit-class vessel will call on Prince Rupert, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Juneau with a scenic glacier cruise through Tracy Arm Fjord. |
Guests can join 4-day weekend Baja Mexico trips from April 23 to August 27, 2026.
Another option is the 18-day transpacific sailing from San Francisco, leaving on September 20, 2026. It will visit Alaskan ports before heading to Japan, visiting Kobe, Otaru, and Yokohama along the way.
Sail From Miami With Carnival Horizon
Carnival Horizon has a 13-day Carnival Journeys itinerary from Barcelona to Miami. Departing on June 15, 2026, it will take passengers to Malaga and Alicante, Spain; Gibraltar; and Carnival’s exclusive new resort in the Bahamas Celebration Key.
Meanwhile, six- and eight-day cruises from summer 2026 to spring 2027 will give vacationers a chance to experience the Caribbean. Six-day sailings leave on Saturdays and will navigate to Celebration Key; Montego Bay or Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and Grand Cayman. |
For a slightly longer vacation, the eight-day itinerary leaves on Sundays and will proceed to Curacao, Aruba, and either Celebration Key, Amber Cove, or Bonaire.
Sail From Port Canaveral With Carnival Vista
Carnival Vista will be homeport from Port Canaveral, giving nearby residents easy access to Half Moon Cay, Celebration Key, and either Amber Cove or Grand Turk. These six-day travels are supplemented by eight-day sailings that will head to Aruba, San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas.
Sail From Norfolk on Carnival Sunshine
Carnival Sunshine offers four-, seven-, eight-, and nine-day cruises from Virginia. Those joining its four- to seven-day itineraries will sail to Bermuda while passengers onboard the five- to seven-day sailings can discover the Bahamas. Its destinations include Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Bimini, Grand Turk, and Celebration Key.
Eight-day cruises offer Eastern Caribbean routes and Canadian sailings. Those who opt for the Great White North visit the ports of Sydney, Saint John, and Halifax.
The nine-day Carnival Journeys itinerary will stop at San Juan, St. Thomas, and Amber Cove.
Last month, Carnival announced several new itineraries leaving from US ports. It also introduced its first Carnival Journeys Eclipse sailing, which departs on August 9, 2026.
