Carnival’s Celebration Key Will Have 4 Restaurants, 9 Food Trucks, and 12 Bars

Carnival Cruise Line gave us the latest details on what you can feast on in Celebration Key, the company’s upcoming island destination in the Bahamas.

According to the cruise line, there will over 30 food and beverage outlets. These include four full-service restaurants, a food hall, nine food trucks, five snack shacks, two counter-service kiosks, and 12 bars. Guests can choose from barbecue, seafood, and other cuisines. There will also be complimentary meals available under the Island Eats brand.

Full-Service Restaurants

Get your grilled meats at Surf N’ Sauce BBQ & Brews, burgers, tacos, and Mediterranean bowls at the Captain’s Galley Food Hall, and seafood at Gill’s Grill.

Mingo’s Tropical Bar & Kitchen combines waterfront dining with Bahamian dishes like conch fritters and fried fish. This is also the place for burgers, steaks, sandwiches, frozen drinks, and cocktails. 

Find Mingo’s and Surf N’ Sauce at the Calypso Lagoon. Gill’s Grill and Captain’s Galley are located in Starfish Lagoon.

Food Trucks 

A sunlit outdoor food court features several colorful food trucks and numerous patrons. People are walking, standing, and sitting at picnic tables shaded by umbrellas. Palm trees surround the area, adding a tropical atmosphere.

Grab quick snacks in the food trucks spread across Starfish and Calypso lagoons. Menu items include burgers, sandwiches, conch fritters, hotdogs, wraps, salads, and refreshing drinks.

Swim Up Bars

Both lagoons will have swim-up bars. Calypso’s Long Necks Bar will have 100 seats, 40 swing seats, DJ music, Bahamian cocktails, frozen beverages, and beer.

Meanwhile, the Parrotfish Swim Up Bar in Starfish Lagoon will offer in-water and regular seats. Customers can choose from frozen cocktails and mocktails infused with tropical fruits.

The exclusive adults-only Pearl Cove Beach Club will have its full-service restaurant, regular bar, swim-up bar, and lounge. You can enter this premium area by selecting three types of club access bundled with drink packages.

Coffee and Dessert at Paradise Plaza

Paradise Plaza will be your first stop upon arrival. The café Suncastle Grounds Coffee and ice cream shop Yumshine Scoops is here.

Complimentary Meals Through Island Eats

Island Eats offers guests a free meal as long as they have their Sail & Sign card. You’ll still get many options from food trucks and quick dining outlets. You can also get 25% off one entrée at the resort’s full-service restaurants except for the one in Pearl Cove Beach Club.

Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy commented on the vast choices available, “Great food and beverage options are essential to the Carnival experience, and we’ve designed Celebration Key with an array of dining opportunities, whether our guests want a casual snack, a quick meal or a full dining experience.”
