As it marks its third anniversary, Margaritaville at Sea announced the upcoming expansion of its fleet to three ships.

The cruise line launched in May 2022 with the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.

Last year it added the Margaritaville at Sea Islander.

Costa Fortuna will become the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet, with more than 102,000 gross tons. The 13-deck ship has more than 1,340 staterooms and can accommodate up to 3,450 guests.

The vessel features an eight-story central atrium. After its delivery in late 2026, it will transform with Margaritaville at Sea’s signature island-inspired design and amenities.

John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville, said, “Margaritaville at Sea has been on an exceptional trajectory in only a few short years. We’re thrilled to once again expand the experience of our brand and share the cruise line’s signature experiences with even more guests.”

Margaritaville at Sea’s two current ships sail short cruise itineraries out of Tampa Bay and Palm Beach to Grand Bahama as well as Key West and Mexico.

From early 2026, it will begin offering longer eight- and ten-night itineraries to a range of new ports, including Aruba, Curaçao, Montego Bay, and New Orleans.

“The launch of the Margaritaville at Sea Islander was a significant moment, and the acquisition of our largest ship to date, gives us another exciting opportunity to bring even more fun and escapism to guests from a new homeport in 2026,” said Christopher Ivy, Chief Executive Officer of Margaritaville at Sea cruise line.

The ship will continue sailing its scheduled cruise program for Costa Cruises until late 2026.
