Royal Caribbean has further extended cancelations to private destination Labadee in Haiti.
The cruise line had already suspended ship visits until November, but has now extended this for another six months.
Calls To Labadee Suspended For Another Six Months

The cruise line has emailed booked guests and travel agents that their ships will not call at Labadee until at least the end of April 2026.
“We wanted to inform you about some changes to our itinerary. We have been monitoring the evolving situation in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and out of an abundance of caution, we’re canceling our visits to Labadee through end of April 2026,” it wrote.
“As we are still finalizing our port schedules, you can expect to receive an updated itinerary via email by September 11, 2025. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause – your safety is our top priority.”
Guests to Be Refunded For Missed Shore Excursions
The cruise line said it will refund pre booked shore excursions in Labadee and other destinations no longer served due to new itinerary revisions. It impacts dozens of sailings on eight ships:
Adventure of the Seas
Allure of the Seas
Explorer of the Seas
Independence of the Seas
Jewel of the Seas
Liberty of the Seas
Oasis of the Seas
Symphony of the Seas
The adjustments range from added sea days to replacement port calls and retimed visits at some other ports. Adventure of the Seas:’ sailings on November 22 and December 6 will have a sea day while the ship’s December 20 Labadee call is replaced by a full day in Nasaau.
Explorer of the Seas’ November 10 call will instead visit Grand Turk, along with an adjusted arrival time at Perfect Day at CocoCay. Freedom of the Seas planned visits on November 1, November 6, November 20, and December 4 are also replaced with Grand Turk calls. On November 29, the ship will visit George Town, Grand Cayman instead.
Oasis of the Seas December 21 Labadee call will shift to Cozumel, Mexico, Symphony of the Seas’ four sailings in November and December will revert to sea days instead of Labadee.
The US State Department placed Haiti on a “Level 4: Do Not Travel” advisory due to the ongoing civil unrest in the country. Labadee is located on Haiti’s northern coast, which is some distance from the capital Port-au-Prince, where mot of the unrest is concentrated.
