Teachers Can Win a Free Cruise — Here’s How to Enter

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has relaunched its annual “Giving Joy” campaign, offering teachers across the U.S. and Canada the chance to win a well-deserved vacation.

Text on a blue starry background reads: "Norwegian’s Giving Joy. In celebration of teachers who spread joy—with a chance to win a free cruise.

Now in its sixth year, the program celebrates educators who go above and beyond to inspire, uplift, and make a difference in their classrooms and communities.

From now through May 31, 2025, students, parents, and fellow educators can nominate a deserving teacher, or teachers can nominate themselves, by sharing stories of dedication, creativity, and impact at nclgivingjoy.com.

The top 20 finalists, selected by a panel of NCL leaders and partners, will each receive a three- or four-day cruise for two aboard one of Norwegian’s ships.

In addition to the cruise prizes, three Grand Prize winners will be invited to sail aboard the christening voyage of Norwegian Luna, NCL’s newest ship, debuting in spring 2026.

The three-night sailing from Miami will showcase Luna’s latest features, including the Aqua Slidecoaster and new dining venues like Sukhothai and Planterie.

Since its debut in 2019, the Giving Joy program has received nearly 61,000 nominations, honored over 270 teachers, and donated more than $515,000 to educators and schools.

“Teachers shape future generations, and this is our way of saying thank you,” said David J. Herrera, NCL President. “We’re thrilled to give back to those who give so much.”
